Jewellery Care
S925 Rhodium-Plated
Our silver jewellery is crafted from 925 Sterling Silver (S925), plated with a layer of rhodium and finished with a layer of protective coating.
S925 is an alloy made up of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. As pure silver is naturally delicate and prone to bending, the addition of other metals improves its strength and durability.
Rhodium is a rare and hard precious metal with a silvery-white colour. It is known to be one of the world’s most valuable and expensive metals, often costing more than gold.
By plating S925 with Rhodium, it provides additional protection against tarnish and scratches, while enhancing its shine and reflectiveness.
What does this mean for you?
- Jewellery that is safe for sensitive skin
- Tarnish-resistant and durable jewellery
- Bright, reflective silver jewellery
S925 18K Gold-Plated
Our gold jewellery is crafted from 925 Sterling Silver (S925), plated with a layer of 18K gold and finished with a protective coating.
S925 is an alloy made up of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. As pure silver is naturally delicate and prone to bending, the addition of other metals improves its strength and durability.
18K gold contains 75% pure gold, giving it a rich, luxurious colour that is highly valued for its warm golden tone. Our jewellery is plated with a thickness appropriate for each piece between 0.5 micron to 1 micron.
What does this mean for you?
- Jewellery that is safe for sensitive skin
- Tarnish resistant and durable jewellery
- The timeless look of solid gold (without breaking the bank!)
Natural Gemstones
We carefully select high-quality natural gemstones to compliment the unique character of every design. Each gemstone is chosen for its beauty, brilliance, and individuality before being carefully set into our jewellery.
As natural gemstones are formed by nature, no two are exactly alike. Subtle variations in colour, clarity, and inclusions are part of what makes each stone unique and beautiful.
Cubic Zirconia
Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is a lab-created gemstone renowned for its exceptional brilliance, clarity and sparkle. With unmatched customisation, it is able to be expertly cut to maximise sparkle and complement the design of each piece.
Freshwater Pearls
Our freshwater pearls are carefully hand-picked for their beautiful lustre, smooth surface, and elegant shape. Each pearl is naturally formed, making each one unique in its character and appearance.
Each pearl is individually inspected by expert artisans before being set into our jewellery.
How do I care for my jewellery?
1. Avoid water and moisture: Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or exercising. Humidity & sweat can dull plating.
2. Keep away from chemicals: Perfume, lotions, hairspray, and household cleaners can damage plating and gemstones.
3. Store safely: Store them in a cool, dry place - ideally in individual airtight Ziploc bags with silica gel.
4. Clean gently: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth only. Avoid abrasives, dips, or ultrasonic cleaners.
Can I use a silver polishing cloth?
We do not recommend using a silver polishing cloth on plated jewellery, as it may gradually wear away the plating.
Instead, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove oils and residue.
If the plating has worn away and the underlying 925 sterling silver is exposed, you may then use a silver polishing cloth to clean the sterling silver surface.
